What Causes Pain In Eyes Without Any Scratches?

I got hit in the eye with the end of a broomstick and it's been hurting off and on for two years. Opening it too fast makes it unbearable. Doesn't happen all the time though. Had my eye looked at with a pen light and no scratch. Doesn't seem to want to go away though. I only think about it when it hurts.

Broomstick injury is to be examined the site. If cornea it can result in corneal ulcer.Diagnosis of corneal ulcer can be done by eye doctor. delay may result in corneal opacity. It may be OFLOXACIN.3%eye drop 6hourly and neosporine eye ointment at bedtime. it should respond. Get it reviewed by eye doctor.
