What Causes Pain In Fingers While Urinating?

Once again after months of not having it, I am having pain in my fingers when urinating. I am an 83 year old woman. Neither Rhumatologist nor Internist had ever heard of it. Should I ask a Neurologist. what is your take? This has occurred off and on for years.

Hello,
It is a strange symptom indeed! Perhaps it would be helpful if you described where the pain is. Do the fingers ache? All of them? Both sides? etc This is going to help a doctor determine the "anatomy" of your pain. When the nerves are affected we expect a certain anatomical distribution of symptoms (pain or other).
Do you also feel pain when straining? Numbness? Your medical history? Drugs?
This kind of symptoms are usually attributed to anxiety disorders but a more complete description would possibly help.
I hope I've given you some insight about your situation. If you'd like to provide more information then I'll be glad to help you discover the root of this unusual symptom.
Kind Regards!
