What Causes Pain In Fingertip That Has Turned Purple Like Bruise And Colder?

A week ago, my fingertip started hurting mildly, like it had had a pin prick, which it may have, but the pain hasn't gone away. There was no redness or swelling. Last night, the finger tip turned purple, like a bruise, although I don't recall doing anything to it, and it doesn't hurt. That finger feels colder than the same finger on the opposite hand.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the infection of the finger, and there is a swelling, of the finger, which may caused the obstruction to the blood flow to the tip of the finger and hence the coldness. The other possibility may be the thrombosis, and ischemia.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, and diclofenac .
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and
protein rich foods to hasten the recovery.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
