What Causes Pain In Foot After Prolonged Sitting?

I am a male 52 years old and recently starting experiencing pain in the top of my foot in the ankle area when I walk. the more I walk the pain seems to spread throughout my foot. I have not injured my foot and
I am relatively active (gym eliptical 3-5 times a week), and it happens after long periods of sitting down. While sitting there is no pain. any ideas?

It can be a stress fracture, or a tendon inflammation. I would recommend you a MRI to confirm the diagnosis. Avoid putting stress over foot.
