What Causes Pain In Groin Area And Thigh?

Hi, I have always been able to bend and stretch well but for the last 6 weeks I have been unable to sit cross legged on the floor as my right leg won t bend far enough towards the floor so I am cannot sit straight without being in pain. I am 43 yrs old and have been having lumbar pain for approx. one year and after being adjusted by a chiropractor twice the pain in the hip started. What could this be? I have some pain in the groin and inside of my thigh when I twist or pivot suddenly with the right leg but nothing when resting.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Get your MRI scan of lumbosacral spine and affected hip joint done and send me the report.

Till then you can take aceclofenac + thiocochicoside combination three times a day by prescription of your family doctor.

Apply hot packs for 30 mins in morning and evening.

Avoid pushing and pulling of heavy objects and crossleg sitting.

I hope it helps.

Thanks.

Dr.Singh.
