Thanks for using Health care Magic.

Read your query.

Early dislodgement of the blood clot can sometimes delay the healing of the tooth socket.I would advice you to AVOID vigorous gargling of the mouth ,though you should continue with salt water gargling.

Take the medicines as prescribed by the dentist. If the pain increases or persists ,get it reviewed by the dentist to rule out any infection( dry socket ).

Hope this was helpful.

Thanks and regards.

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The pain in the gums could be post extraction pain (slight pain is normal). If the pain is severe it can be because of the dry socket that occurs when the blood clot get dislodged and if there is infection of the bone.
Consult your oral surgeon get the extraction socket irrigated with saline and betadine.
Complete the course of antibiotics and analgesics, do saline gargling. Maintain oral hygiene.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
