What Causes Pain In Head Above Right Eye Accompanied By Nausea And Diarrhea?
gradual (dull) to painful (sharp) headache above the right eye accompanied by a feeling of nausea (no vomiting) and sometimes moderate diarrhea lasting through the evening. It starts late afternoon (3 days in a row). One or two cups of coffee a day; morning and mid afternoon. Eye glass prescription is current, but the pain is worse when I try to read or watch TV. You may need to undergo complete hemogram, electrolytes with clinical examination of abdomen or ultrasound of abdomen to find out the correct underlying cause.
You will require antibiotics (quinolones or antiprotozoals etc.) with anti-emetic, antispasmodics with prebiotics and probiotics for symptomatic relief.
For constant headache you can take over the counter pain killers like diclofenac and check eye numbers again.
There might be need of fluid and electrolyte balance in body to prevent water loss.
You must general physician for immediate treatment who can prescribe you all these medications. If headache persists then neuro-physician can also be consulted for more information.
