What Causes Pain In Head And Throat?

Hi my wife is suffering from head and throat pain. she is having cough & cold.she feel problem in inhaling cough inside.doctor told her to go for PNS NCCT CT scan test.we want to know that what is this test and is it painful?we want to know about this sinus problem.

Dear she may be suffering from acute rhinitis with pharyngitis with sinusitis with nose block.It may be due to infection or allergy or polyps.

If she is suffering from above problem may need to know is it sinusitis present or not if sinusitis present means need to take CT scan or xray pns.

Depending upon the investigation you may need treatment.

Avoid cool drinks and freeze water, Avoid allergen.
use water vapour inhalation, salt water gargling. use tab.Alday DC twice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
