I have had a headache for about a month and a half, every day, intermittantly through out the day. I have not changed habits, blood pressure is fine, no specific time of the day that it occurs. occurs behind and in the right eye only, and right side of the head. imitrex did not help with this, pcp is not contacting me back. pain is approimately a 8/10 at worst, 5/10 when it is just moderate to mild. please help

I understand your concern.You appear to have headache episodes which are classical for migraine.The typical features of migraine are- 1)Throbbing or pulse like headache 2)Hemicranial(half head,either right or left) 3)Retro-orbital(behind the eye) 4)associated nausea 5)associated photophobia and phonophobia(headache increases on exposure to bright light and sound) 6)visual aura
Intermittent episodic unilateral headache along with retro-orbital mandates migraine as the most likely consideration because epidemiologically migraine is very common. Please discuss with your physician to start you on anti-migraine therapy and observe for improvement.I hope it helps.
