What Causes Pain In Heart Area And Is It Related To Tachycardia?

my boyfriends heart has been hurtin lately just randomly after he eats or is just sitting like watching tv or at work it's all the time. he is very stressed and i am not sure what to do. he also has postural orthostatic tachycardio syndrome so don't know if that has anything to do with it

Hi,

Pain in the chest? It may be cardiac or non-cardiac. So if it is aggravating after taking food then the possibility of gastritis with oesophagal reflux disease.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.

Get consult your physician/cardiologist they will examine and treat you accordingly.
