What Causes Pain In Hip Area?

My left side hurts, mostly around the hip but does wrap around torso. The pain is equivalent to a large bruise when I rotate. I have a history of bilateral hip pain while sleeping, I have even replaced our mattress. I am 43, is this just an aging thing?!

After going through your query I concluded that you may be having osteoarthritis of left Hip. It can be confirmed by x ray of left hip. Its treatment is Diacerine and glucosamine. Analgesic such as ibuprofen is useful as it give relief from pain and swelling. Hip and back exercises give relief. You can discuss your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.
