What Causes Pain In Knees,hip,ankle,knuckles And Shoulder?

both of my knees starting hurting, and feels like bruising on the inside across the top of the knees, about 3 weeks ago. now my right hip, right ankle, knuckles of my right hand and my right shoulder are so painful. I can t walk well, and getting off the toilet or putting on a pull-over shirt are all unbearable... what could be the cause?

Hello,

I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms could be related to arthritis or a connective tissue disorder. For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician and performing some tests:

- complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation
- RF plasma levels
- ANA and ANCA antibody titer
- calcium and vitamin D plasma levels.

Consulting with a Rheumatologist may be needed.
