What Causes Pain In Left Abdominal Area During Post Menopausal Stage?

Hi! Im a 57 year old white post menopausal woman. I am having pain in the lower left abdominal area - not too severe but similar to when I used to ovulate. I have a fever of 100.4. No nausea, no diarrhea. The pain started Monday and has gradually increased.

Hello,
Pain accompanied by fever could be due to infection in the lower abdomen.
Kindly consult your gynaecologist .
The following drugs may be helpful:

1. Tablet paracetamol 500mg thrice daily for 3 days for fever
3. Tablet ciprofloxacin and tinidazole combination 2 times a day for 7 days to treat bacterial infection.
3. Drink lots of fluids.
Kindly get a urine analysis done.
Regards,
Dr.Riyanka
