My chest is very sore. The pain is only on the left side, and it feels like my heart to me. I saw a doctor, and they did an EKG. Then he sent me to get a stress echo. That was today. After the test the doctor came in to talk to me for about 30 seconds. He instantly dismissed the possibility that it was my heart and walked away. So it looks like they're not going to do anything. The pain is pretty bad. It keeps me up at night. Why are doctors so reluctant to acknowledge it when your heart hurts? I can feel it!
Since your ecg and stress echo is normal it is unlikely to be cardiac cause for your chest pain. In my opinion you should also get done chest x ray to rule out any lung pathology for your pain. Sometimes pleurisy due to pneumonia or TB or pleural effusion csn cause such pain. So consult pulmonologist.
