What Causes Pain In Lower Right Quadrant With Nausea And Dizziness?
I am having a sharp twinging pain in my lower right quadrant; when I pressed on the spot early this morning i suddenly felt a little nausea and dizziness. The twinges of pain are more frequent. I don t have a fever, diarehea, vomiting. I am thinking either appendix or right ovary or something with my small intestine. I have had 2 bowel movements today which is not usual for me as I can go 2-3 days without going. Am taking probiotics. Thanks
Hi. Yes the pain in the right lower abdomen which increases on pressure and cause nausea and dizziness is more suggestive of an acute inflammation in the area like appendicitis or ovarian twisting or sudden increase in pressure. This can be easily confirmed by an ultrasonography and clinical examination by a General Surgeon. Get operated if there is a surgical cause as we both are thinking. If colitis or such things area suspected you can have a course of an antibiotic and supportive medicines.
