Hi,I am Dr. Radhakrishna (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a pain in my lower right side for about 10 days. I assumed it was from lifting something that was too heavy. I had a hysterectomy many years ago and I was told that my appendix was removed at the same time. There are no other symptoms that relate to that part of the body. I accept that I must avoid lifting weight that is too heavy for me, but how long a time should I wait before reporting the matter to my doctor if the pain continues? I accept that I must avoid lifting weight that is too heavy
Well with the hysterectomy and appendectomy, the cause of right lower pain in this regard is obviously ruled out,.. With the history of lifting heavy objects that can can such pain, but continuation for 10 days is an indication for you to visit the Doctor, get examined and get investigated like high resolution ultrasonography and all .
Take full rest till your are diagnosed and treated well.
