hi, i had a coil fitted a few years ago, i forgot about it and left it in fo too long and as result got an infection, which caused me to be hospitalised. While i was in there they put a drain which was to remove the puss from my tubes. I was discharged but nw two weeks on i have developed a tender lower stomach and pains on the opposite side to where the infection was and have no idea what this could be.
