What Causes Pain In Neck After Instertion Of Breathing Tube?
I had a colonoscopy this morning. I had a breathing tube inserted. After the procedure, I coughed a lot. Before I left to come home, I was experiencing pain in my left neck area. Now, both sides of my jaw are very sore and look swollen. What might have occurred during or after the procedure that has caused this? Thank you.
U sound dangerous, did they put u on general anaesthetic local?? With ga tube can lead to irritation and post op cough which will resolve by itself or can take cough suppressant best for this case. Swollen and sore jaws can be air filled due to leakage or disruption in membrane... need to check or infection due to retention in glands, secretion. in either case u have breathing difficulty, to contact imm
