What Causes Pain In Neck And Lower Jaw?

Ive been getting these intermittent very mild 1/10 (pain scale) shock type feelings that go up my neck to my lower jaw and left arm to my anterior wrist, at the same time. It lasts for barely a second but has continued to happen for the last 3 days. HX: ADD (Adderall 10mg) anxiety (xanax 0.25 prn) levora (birth control)

symptoms such as pain in jaw and neck,headache, shoulder and arm pain dizziness and hearing problem are sometimes related to TMJ disorders. Since exact causes and symptoms of TMJ disorder are not known, diagnosing these disorder can be difficult. Checking the patients dental and medical history is very important. Jaw rest can help to heal TMJ joints .Patients should avoid chewing gum,eating hard,chewy food and opening their mouth very wide.

The pain in the neck and lower jaw can be because of the neuralgia in relation trigeminal nerve. Consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, we can treat accordingly.
