What Causes Pain In Right Rib During Pregnancy?

I am 37 weeks pergant and about a week ago I woke up with a terrible pain in my right rib. Everyday this pain seems to get worse, and normal activities seem to get harder to do. The pain feels like I m being stabbed with a knife. I have been to an OB doctor who says that it seems like it would be floating ribs. But the pain never let s off or gets any better. I have been having a really hard time breathing, walking, sleeping, using the bathroom, getting dressed, just at life in general. Any ideas of what this could be?

welcome

some amount of pain may be normal at 37 weeks due to effect of grownig baby which cause pressure...

but if its unbearable, then consultation is must to rule out the cause..

sometimes elective delivery can also be planned to avoid such severe side effects due to pressure...

but 1st consult your doctor to rule out actual cause..
thanks
