Hi,
I understand your query & concern.
- The back pain in pregnancy along with pain in butts & legs ,acute in nature seems to be due to temporary change of bony curvature of vertebral column -following gravitational changes in pregnancy. This leads to pressure on nerve roots emerging from vertebrae & results in nerve pain.
Management consists of hot or cold compresses/ NSAID pills with doctor's advise/ calcium,Vitamin D, B12 supplements / light extension exercises under a physiotherapist's guidance.
Thanks.
