What Causes Pain In Right Testicles?

My husband has a slight pain in his right testicle, but with no other symptoms. He played softball 4 days ago, but just yesterday he started feeling the pain. He worked 20 hours of over time as a security officer so he is on his feet all night. Would being active cause pain? He just wears boxers and wants to see if briefs would help. He is 23 years old and 6'0, weighing 155 lbs. and has no other illnesses or problems. He is healthy with a high metabolism.

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read your query and reviewed it with context to your query facts.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
mostly from Right Varicocele.
Other causes needs to be ruled out.
Pain in right testicle in your husband's case is due to the Engorged Veins from Venus reflux, from incompetent venous valves at the draining big veins in the abdomen.
High activity over last 20 hrs has positively increased the venus engorgement from Varicocele incompetent valves on right side, which is causing increased pain than earlier.
Briefs being supportive to the loose and hanging right testes(to reduce the increased thermal effects from engorged veins) would definitely help him for few weeks till corrective surgical treatment is done.
With high metabolic body of your husband,it adds more bad thermal effects on to testicular functions, leading to early testicular atrophy. To avoid it,early surgical correction and using briefs than boxer's ugies, is advised to you.
Hope this would resolve your health issues in the best way possible.
Welcome for any further query in this regard.

Good Day!!
