General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem is most likely peri arthritis. It can come diabetics also. An orthopedic examination is well appreciated in this to rule out the condition and proper therapy. For such condition in my patients I advise NSAIDs like aceclofenac and physiotherapy. I also advise them keep the arm away from body while sleeping by placing a pillow between chest and arm. If pain is more then local corticosteroid or anaesthetic injections will be helpful also. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
