What Causes Pain In Site Of Previous Vericocele And After Ejaculation?

Im 19. 4 years ago I had successful varicocele surgery on my left side. Now, 4 years later something new is going on. I will occasionally feel pings of pain coming from almost the same spot where the varicocele was and my spermatic cord seems to be swollen when I compare it to my right side. I also feel a sharp pain after ejaculation but that subsides after a few minutes. This has been going on for a few weeks now. Im wondering if this is a repeat varicocele or if it is something new. I haven t had sex so I doubt the possibility of it being bacterial or infectious.

The pain in Lt testicle 4 years after surgery of Varicocelectomy could be either due to recurrence of Varicocele or infection of the spermatic cord (Funiculitis).

This needs to be confirmed by clinicl examination by a qualified Urologist or General Surgeon and doing following basic tests
1)Ultrasound Scanning of the scrotum
2) Color Doppler Ultrasound Scanning of scrotum.

In the mean while start taking anti inflammatory medication like Diclofenac and antibiotic like Doxicycline twice daily.

Further treatment will depend upon the results of these tests and final diagnosis.
