What Causes Pain In Spleen After A Glandular Fever?
Hi, i have had glandular fever for the past 3weeks, today iv noticed what seems to be a slight pain in my spleen, not a major pain by any means but it is uncomfortable. I now have my left shoulder tingling and slightly numb. Is this something I should be concerned about?
Hi, glandular fever, also known as Infectious Mononucleosis or kissing disease, is caused by a virus and can affect the liver and spleen too. It can cause swelling of the spleen, and there have been cases of splenic rupture. I suggest you see a doctor who can do an ultra-sound or CT scan to see if your spleen is not at risk.
