Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
everytime i eat food it seems like it sits at the top of my stomach, in the middle, right below my ribs. it almost feels like it is stuck in my intestines and wont move. shortly after that happens my intestines fill up with gas and i get severe pain in my stomach. the only way to relieve this pain is to lay on floor on the place that hurts....or lay onmy left side until i release gas. i eliminated dairy and bread and it helps but not completely and i take enzimes, and that helps too. but still in alot of pain.
Your symptoms seem to be related to bloating. I would recommend using simethicone medication three times a day.
I also recommend using daily probiotics. Limit your intake of carbonated drinks. Avoid foods that cause gas, such as vegetables in the cabbage family, dried beans, and lentils.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
