What Causes Pain In Testicle?

I have a varying pain in my right testicle that started yesterday. It comes and goes. This happened to me back in 2005 and I had an ultrasound done and I was told I had a scrotal pearl. The pain went away and hasn't been back until now. What should I do?

Hi,Dear,Thanks for your query to HCM.
Dear I read your query and reviewed it with context to your query facts.
I understood your health concerns and feel Concerned about them.

Based on the facts of your query, you seem to suffer from-
Scrotal Calcified loose bodies?-Scrotal Pearls outside testicular tissue.
If the pain has not come back, then in that case, you should not worry.
As these scrotoliths, needs to be neglected if no complaint or discomfort is there in the patient.
If it worries you still you could keep a watch on it - by repeated USG Scrotum, and remove it Surgically if it becomes large/or is growing to cause pain in testes.

Hope this would help you to solve your health issues in the best way possible.
Welcome for any further query in this regard.

Good Day!!

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of pain in the right testicle that started yesterday which comes and goes. You had similar problem in 2005 when ultrasonography showed scrotal pearl, the pain went away and now is back.
Since there is such a big gap of 10 years there are so many other reasons for the pain in the right testicle that need to be found out or ruled out. These are:
Epididymo-orchitis.
Varicocele
Twisting that is also called as torsion and so on.
This can be detected well by clinical evaluation by a General Surgeon or Urologist and ultrasonography with color doppler examination.
Once diagnosed, get proper treatment and you will be fine.
