What Causes Pain In The Abdomen And Back After Taking Clarithromycin?
After taking clarithromcyn immediately I had a reaction abdominal pain back pain being sick. I was advised by my GP to stop taking them after three days since then the abdominal pain and back ache nd being sick is still happening nd it s been two days since I took one of these tablets

Hi Thank you for querry,
As you mentioned the side effect the life threatning side effect of clarithromycine is cerebral hemorrhage after which therapy should be discontinue
hypokalemia,abdominal pain,backache and diarrhea are the adverse effect which is treated symptomatically.
Tab.Drotavirine and NSAIDs pain killer reduce the effects.
