Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a long distance truck driver and after driving several hours, I stopped and when I got out of the truck, my knee was hard to straighten out and I had pain in the back of my knee. Since then, I have swelling that is getting worse as well as pain. Also, i cannot bend my knee very far.
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern, looking to the history given here I could say that the knee joint is highly vulnerable to disease and injury because of the fragility, as you said that your drive the truck, so because of this your knee joint must be remaining in the same position for hours and this could cause pain, so avoid such posture, this may the option you have otherwise taking pain killer is not advisable, take care and have a nice day.
