What Causes Pain In The Breast?

My right breast hurts incredibly. Its been hurting for a few months now. But only recently has become unbearable. It could handle it mostly but yesterday I kind of ran into a pole on the bus on that side and now hurts considerably more. I need help. I don t have way to the hospital right now not that they could help me because I ve gone already and they said I need to see an OBGYN. Which also I cannot do immediately. I have a full day of school and work afterwards. Then the next day work alone. I need help.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The pain could be due to hormonal imbalance or it could be due to lump in breast. Take any medicine for pain and get your ultrasound breast to rule out the cause of the pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
