What Causes Pain In The Broken Leg Area After A Few Months?

I recently broke my leg a few months ago, and my orthopaedic doctor told me it was okay. Problem is that after so many months of being out of a cast, it still hurts to put on my shoes and walk on that leg from time to time. Even laying in bed is beginning to cause me pain. :( What do I do?

Hi,

If these problems persist then you should have it reviewed again. Normally we do expect pain, swelling and stiffness for a few months, but if it persists longer then the review should be done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Gopal Goel, Orthopaedic Surgeon
