What Causes Pain In The Center Of The Stomach Area?

I have had lots of test including uper and lower GI, & sonagram however I am still experiencing pain in the top center of my stomach area and also lower left side of stomach. I feel hot and then cold but my temp today was lower than normal lowest 97.3. I have felt sick to my stomach and I got a perscription from ER, Zofran to stop it. ER said it was Acute Gasritis. Lacking the actual sickness, I have had these symptums for over 6 months. Through the test they found ulcers and a hernia, but they said these would not cause this pain. The ER said I m suppose to go back to my reg. doctor but they have run gobs of test and can t figure it out. I have noticed more and more things are getting harder to eat with out the pain getting worse. I have a TBI so maybe I m not asking the right questions to help the doctor figure out what is wrong with me. I d appreciate any help you can give me!

Thank you for posting your query.

history of epigastric discomfort/ abdominal discomfort and also assoicated with eating.

further evaluation needed.
what is your age? height? weight? bowel habits and color?

history of heartburn , stomach pain, nausea, vomiting.
differential is: GERD, gastritis, ulcer disease, hernia
if age>50, visit a gastroenetrologist. you maybe needing a endoscopic examination. also visit a general surgeon and discuss if hernia needs to be corrected.

if your age
if the H.pylori test comes positive, then you might need eradication therapy.

meanwhile:
- include yogurt in your diet
- take "pantocid 40mg OR Nexium 40mg", once daily before breakfast.
- use two pillows under your head, when you lie down/sleep.
- eat your last mean 3 hours before going to bed
-Avoid spicy food, oil rich food,
- No smoking and NO alcohol.
- do NOT eat mouth full.
-no cold drinks and NO junk food
- try to avoid drinking water at the end of a meal.

if any further questions, feel free to ask.
