What Causes Pain In The Chest Upon Drinking Water?

HI! Good Morning. Why i feel little pain in left chest when starting drinking cold water? And what is this under my jaw like a stone for more than ten years? Sometimes it comes bigger sometimes smaller and sometimes creating phlegms. By the way i am 48 yrs old.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I feel you need to meet a ENT SPECIALIST(ear, nose and throat) who would examine your throat and get a ultrasound neck to check for the swelling. There are various reasons for neck swelling from plunging ranula, thyroglossal cyst , lymph node swelling to pharyngeal pouch.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
