What Causes Pain In The First Joint Of The Right Hand Fore Finger?
Hi doctor!! I am a 30 year old woman.just recently i hv started getting a pain in the first joint of my right hand forefinger.thinking it to be due to calcium deficiency,i have started taking Shelcal Os tablets.i jus wanted to knw,m i taking the right medicine?? Is this pain due to calcium deficiency in da body?
You need to confirm diagnosis by proper investigation. loss of elasticity of muscles, due to deficiency of VIT B12 and carnitine these symptoms can be aggravated .so supplements of these nutrients can relieve pain. Another associated factor can be due to osteoporosis of bones there can be diffuse pain all over body. Check your bone strength with DEXA SCAN and you can start medication according to level of osteoporosis, I will advise you to do regular physiotherapy and exercises as my patients find much relief by these therapies.
