Hi welcome to HCM. Chest pain and extremity edema despite being on antihypertensive medications needs invasive monitoring in the form coronary angiography. This can accurately detect any blocks in the coronary circulation. In case of significant stenosis contributing to chest pain,in situ stenting can be done which can restore the blood flow.Monitor your blood pressure and keep it under 130/80 mm of hg.Restrict the intake of salt to less than 6gm/day.Drugs like inotropes can be used in case of any congestive heart failure.Consult your cardiologist for further care. Thank you.
