Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hey I stood up from a squat the other day and it felt like my left knee buckled and sort of popped (as if two things were locked together and suddenly let go) and it would hurt for about a week or so everyone I stood up from a squat. It stopped hurting for a while but today everytime I would stand up from a squat, it would hurt again. Any ideas? Thanks!
Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic. After going through your query I think You are suffering from early osteoarthritis . What is your age? Quadriceps exercises, Cartisafe D once daily and analgesics (DICLOFENAC 100 MG SLOW RELEASE TABLETS) whenever pain is treatment. Sometimes vitamin D deficiency can aggravate this so serum vitamin D test is advised if it is low than vitamin D supplementation will be required. MRI knee joint is advised to rule out meniscus and ligament injury.I think your query answered.Welcome to any follow up query.
