According to your history, you may be suffering from chronic depression or anxiety disorder.
Gasping while eating may be seen in patients with cranial nerve palsy or acid reflux or recurrent larygeal nerve palsy or achalasia or B asthma. But you may be suffering from chronic depression with fatigue syndrome. If you're not married or not a pregnant means antidepressants may be useful.
Do regular exercise and yoga. Do medication regularly. If symptoms not improved please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
