What Causes Pain In The Lower Mid Back And Red Spots On The Sides Of The Body?
I have had pain in my lower to middle back which is migrated around to my front of it, kind of like a small round hotspot in my lower right belly I now have had small red spots on my side. I am unable to sleep and the pain, it is more uncomfortable when I am sitting or lying down. I am 53, did have chickenpox when I was little and then wondering if this could be the start of shingles.

It could certainly be the start of Shingles. People often get pain around one side of the body before the actual rash shows up, please see a doctor soon.
Medications may help prevent a prolonged painful period if shingles is the cause.
