What Causes Pain In The Mouth While Moving The Tongue And Opening The Mouth?
at the back of my mouth, where i think the retromolar trigone is, its quite painful on both sides. Its not my tonsils, its just before there. the pain seems to be coming from the bottom of my mouth and its quite painful to move my tongue around and a little bit sore to open my mouth. im really really worried.
Hi, the inflamed area at the retromolar region if a frequent complaint and this can lead to edema and pain in the region surrounding. please get a dental examination done as lesser space in the region of retromoral trigone is a frequent cause of inflammation as the area gets traumatized. Also this leads to incomplete eruption of last molar and infection of the mucosal lining in this region is a frequent finding resulting in the pain. Please get a dental examination done. A partially erupted last molar should be treated by either incising the covering mucosa on if space is really less, extraction of the last molar. Good orodental hygiene, frequent use of mouth washes helps. Regards
