What Causes Pain In The Navel?
My daughter is 22 and noticed that if she touched her belly button it hurt. She seems to have no other symptoms. She saw a clinician at her school and he could feel a lump below the belly button. Tomorrow she will have an ultrasound. After the touching done at the clinic, she now has pain when she sits down and there now seems to be a slight bulge.

It may be hernia or uterus enlargement seen in pregnancy or uterine mass or ovarian mass or urine retention etc.
Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please get ultrasound abdomen done and consult your surgeon, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
