Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is highly likely you are suffering from the cold air–induced rhinitis. Cold air–induced Rhinitis is associated with chronic allergic and non-allergic Rhinitis, but the disorder may also occur in people with no nasal disease.

Patients with cold air-induced rhinitis after exposure to cold air feel nasal burning or pain and develop nasal congestion. The underlying mechanism is nasal mucosa becomes hypersensitive to cold air and produces an excess of certain chemical substances.

The diagnosis of cold air-induced Rhinitis is clinical. To prevent it you should always avoid cold air. To treat the disorder your Doctor may also prescribe Capsaicin nasal spray (Sinus Buster) which has shown effectiveness in the treatment of cold air-induced Rhinitis and non-allergic Rhinitis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Malik Amonov
