What Causes Pain In The Pelvic Area Post Intercourse?

Dear Dr, I am 22 years old and very worried. 2 weeks ago i had sex, and had some spotting after. The sex was painful and afterwards till now, i keep having this dull ache in my pelvic area and lower back. Also, my period is so scanty right now, i dont even notice i have it, and i dont even need a pad. During examination, the dr told me my cervix looked ectropian, my ultrasound scan was normal. I have PCOS (no cysts though). I am very worried, please help :(*

Hello,
I can understand your problem and i would like to tell you that pain in pelvic area can occur after sexual intercourse when you did not come or you did not satisfy with sex. You also told that sex was painful, so the pelvic pain may be due to insufficient sexual pleasure.
So i would advise you that from next time onwards, indulge good time in foreplay, which will increase the sex drive and will give more pleasure to both of you. your problem of pelvic pain will also go away by giving more time in foreplay.
PCOD sometimes can cause pelvic pain, but in your case, its possibility is very rare.
Feel free to ask any kind of questions to me anytime.
