What Causes Pain In The Upper Right Quadrant And Below The Rib Cage?
Pressing upper right of abdomen half right of plexus and further to the right below the rib cage below diaphragm feels some pain 4 /10. ate something last weekend and since them I had diareah and stomach ache but it got better now. I know I have Gallstones
Hello, gallbladder issues can cause pain in the RUQ just below your rib cage. Typically the pain is aching which radiates to right shoulder or around to the back. It frequently is associated with greasy fatty food but can be present with any foods or none at all. If you have known gallstones it is likely a symptomatic cholelithiasis or a chronic cholecystitis , both of which are indications for a cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal surgery)
