Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
It looks to me that you are having tenosynovitis of the hand.It is called Dequervan 's disease. I would suggest you following.
1. Hot water fomentation
2. rest to hand
3. steroid injection in tendon sheath
4. minor surgery is last option
