What Causes Pain In Thoracic Lumbar Junction After Injury?

I have continuing pain at the level of an 8-9 about the size of a tennis ball that contiues very acutely in the same location - at the thoracic-lumbar junction, regardless of what I do .... I fell in March, taking the brunt of the fall with the breaking of the fall with my hands... Could I have ruptured a disc, or something, as I have tingling and very little strength in my left hand, and NO relief with Chiropractics.
