What Causes Pain In Urethra During Sex?

I m 18 years old and have had bacterial vaginosis about 3 times, all treated with some form of antibiotic, but what I noticed about 1 months ago was my urethra was very painful and sex increased this pain, no symptoms of a uti just the urethral pain. Sex started getting painful for me about 1 year ago with my current boyfriend, I ve been to doctors, gynecologists and I don t think they quite get it.. It s like the more sex I have the more painful it gets and the pain can be sharp and internal or in my urethra or deep pain that feels like his penis is hitting something whilst on my period. HELP

Hi!
I think you have cystitis. It is infection of the urinary bladder and one of the causes may be intercourse. During intercourse, the possibilities of getting an infection from vagina or perineal area is high because you know that urethra, vagina and anus are near to each other.
You should take an urinary deainfectant as Fosfomycin or Cranberry for example.
Also, you should drink a lot of water so that you can urinate and get the bacteria outside.
