What Causes Pain In Uterus During Follicular Study?
hello dr. i am doing a foliicular study ... i am seeing a homeopathic dr for treatment... following are my results, 9th day Lt ovary 13x8 mm, ET 21mm.. 11th day Lt ovary 13x 10mm, Et 31mm.. 12th day Lt ovary 13x 10mm, Et 41mm... all the days the Rt ovary is M.S.F. what do i gather from this? also when the procedure is being done i get pain inside my uterus... my dr is not available right nw n hence the inquiry.
Hi.This study shows that follicle size is almost the same from 9th to 12th day and only ET means endometrial thickness or inner lining of uterus is increasing in response to the medicine . I think this will not serve your purpose . In fact , we need size of follicle to be around 18- 20 mm and ET 8mm is good enough. Now this means that if conception does not occur either there will be heavy bleeding or if it occurs there is a good base for implantation of embryo. But conception will occur after rupture of follicle or release of egg from ovary and its fertilisation with sperm and after its appropriate size. Thanks.Reason for pain may be something else and not related to this size of follicle.
