What Causes Pain Like Pulled Muscle In Left Rib Cage?

I have a pain under my left rib cage, very high up, almost like a pulled muscle. I lay on that side when I sleep and this morning when I woke up, the pain made if difficult for me to move off of that side. I've been doing some yoga lately and wondering if it could be something I pulled in there, or something more?

Hi. I can understand your concern.
Get a chest x ray done to rule out any lung infection as it causes similar symptoms.Possibility of musculoskeletal pain is more.
You will definitely improve with combination of painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs.
Also apply warm water pad on affected areas.
Avoid movements causing pain.
Don't worry, you will be alright in 1-2 weeks.
But better to first rule out lung infection.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
