What Causes Pain On Left Collarbone And Shoulder Pain While Lying Down?

Hi doc,I have this dull pain on.my left collar bone that comes and goes, I do get some relief taking a myprodol but I need to get to the root of the problem and also when I go to bed both my shoulders ache making it very difficult for me to even turn to the other side..The pain subside when I get up and start walking.

Dear patient
I would like to know more details of pain. Is pain exactly at centre or lateral aspect of collar bone? Or pain is at both shoulders? And what is your age? Pain which occurs at night and comes and goes and relieved as fay passes is mostly due to inflammatory arthritis. You might be having arthritis of lateral joint of clavicle I. E. Acromio clavicular joint. Kindly get yourself examined by expert orthopaedic surgeon. I would like to advise radiograph of left shoulder with clavicle to come to diagnosis. Kindly do this both things and you would come to diagnosis.
