Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi,I recently injured my knee during an exercise class while jumping in the air. When I landed I heard a pop and felt like my knee cracked in multiple places. Immediately I was left with a sensation of temporary paralysis because my knee snapped and buckled. It felt as though my leg have way and is unable to support me. I can walk and bend my knee without major discomfort however if I go down steps my leg feels like it s going to give out on me. I m thinking I tore my ACL or my meniscus but I can walk, bend and extend my knee. The pain is on the outside of my knee cap and the pain is debilitating when it gives out on me I would really appreciate your input.
